DPF:差圧パイプ
ご存知の方も多いと思いますが、
DPFの詰まり具合を判断する基準数値の一つに「差圧」という数値があります。
これは主にDPFフィルターの上流（入口側）と下流（出口側）の圧力の差を数値化する事によって、
DPFフィルター内の「圧力＝詰まり」を出口側との「差」として表す数値です。
数値単位は主に○○kPaもしくは○○kgf。
あくまでエンジン回転数・水温により圧力が変動するので、
計測の際は一定の回転数・水温で計測しないと意味はない。
一般的には1000rpmで1.0kPa以下位が望ましい数値。
（車両もしくはDPFの形状によって基準値は異なります）
よくDPF診断等でおじゃました時に「1000rpmで差圧が30kPaある」とか言われる事が多いのですが、
何の前触れもなくフィルターの詰まりによって差圧が30kPaになる事はほぼありません。
逆に言えば差圧が30kPaになる前にチェックランプ等が付いているはずです。
では何故急にそんな数値になるのか？
考えられる原因の一つは「溶損」です。
溶けて目詰まり、もしくは砕けて目詰まりしている可能性です。
今まで特段問題なかったが、溶損によりフィルターが完全に詰まったケース。
そして一番多いのが・・・
差圧パイプの詰まりです。
前述したとおり差圧は上流と下流の差を図っています。
もっとわかりやすく言うと、
差圧パイプを通り抜ける圧力を測定しているものです。
フィルターがクリーンな時は排圧がフィルター側に流れますが、
フィルターが詰まってくると排圧の逃げ場が無くなり、
もう一つの通り道である差圧パイプ側に流れます。
その圧力を測定している通り道が「差圧パイプ」
圧力を測定しているのが「差圧センサー」です。
その圧力を測定している差圧パイプが詰まってしまうと差圧が30kPa何て事になるわけです。
DPFは奇麗だが差圧パイプのみ詰まるというケースはほぼありません。
差圧パイプが詰まっているという事はフィルターが詰まってきているという事なので、
当社的にはそのお知らせサインのような物なのですが、
ことDPFの知識が乏しい整備工場さんがこのケースに当たると、
とんでもない事態に発展しますので十分お気を付けください。

強制再生
（実際は差圧パイプが詰まっているだけ）
↓
強制再生実施後も差圧が下がらない
（差圧パイプが詰まっているから差圧が下がるわけがない）
↓
「DPFがダメなので新品で31万円です。」
（差圧パイプが詰まっているだけなのに・・・）
↓
本当は差圧パイプが詰まっていただけ
このような事態が横行しています。
実際ディーラーさんに新品交換と言われて当社に連絡を頂いたお客様の中にも、
このような状態のお客様が多数いらっしゃいます。
DPF不良と言われても、何がどう悪いのかしっかり確認しましょう！
